Tribe

Barech

The Barech are the tribe of Shorawak, descended in tradition from Baraich, son of Sharkhbun. The Makhzan-i Afghani gives Baraich two sons, Davudnagh and Hossain; the Khulasat al-Ansab names the three divisions that survive at Shorawak, the Badalzai, Zakozai and Mandozai.
