Tribe
The Zmarai are a tribe of Musa Khel tahsil with two sections, the Ismail Khel and Muhammad Khel. The Baloch call them Mizri.
The Loralai gazetteer says the Zmarai descend from Miani; Longworth Dames lists them under Panni in the Ghurghusht line.
The genealogy follows the Makhzan-i Afghani and the Khulasat al-Ansab, as Caroe tabulates them. It records tradition: where sources place a tribe differently, the note above says so.
