The Gharshin are a Sayyid group of Loralai and Dera Ghazi Khan, adopted into the Miana line. The Makhzan-i Afghani names Gharshin as Miana's adopted son, and the Loralai gazetteer traces them to Sayyid Ishaq and a Shirani woman.
The genealogy follows the Makhzan-i Afghani and the Khulasat al-Ansab, as Caroe tabulates them. It records tradition: where sources place a tribe differently, the note above says so.
