The Kheshgi descend in tradition from Khuishki, son of Zamand. They moved from Kalat and the Tarnak to Kasur, where they were called Kasuria Pathans, and to Ghorband. The Makhzan-i Afghani gives Khuishki six sons.
The genealogy follows the Makhzan-i Afghani and the Khulasat al-Ansab, as Caroe tabulates them. It records tradition: where sources place a tribe differently, the note above says so.
