The Jaji (Zazi) live in Hariob and the Alikhel tract of upper Kurram. The Khulasat al-Ansab names Zazi among the khels of Khoghi, and Caroe follows it.

Where the sources disagree

Ibbetson reports that the Jaji claim descent from Khugiani son of Kakai and suggests they may be of Awan stock.
